Appointment
Q: What if I need to cancel my appointment?
A: Where circumstances allow at least 12 hours notice would be appreciated. A fee may be charged for a non-attendance without notice.
Consultation
Q: How many times & how often will I need to attend?
A: This will be directly related to your goals & hopefully the response to the agreed management plan
Q: What should I expect from my first visit? (Initial Consultation)
A: As explained on the “Services” page a detailed assessment will be followed by a discussion of an agreed plan of action.
Please wear comfortable loose clothing & where appropriate bring shorts or singlet tops to allow access to area to be examined.Q: Do I need a Doctor’s referral?
A: Private (self-funding) patients do not require a referral to see a physiotherapist or if you have an accepted TAC or Workcover claim.
New TAC, WC, DVA & Medicare CDM (Chronic Disease Management formerly Medicare EPC) require a doctor’s referral.
Fees
Q: How do I pay for my treatment?
A: Private clients payment is on the day of treatment. We have electronic HICAPs (for instant private health insurance claims) & EFTPOS facilities for your convenience.
Accepted TAC, WC claims will be billed to the appropriate bodies. DVA & CDM clients please bring your DVA or Medicare cards as appropriate.
